SCRAP IRON CLUB UPCOMING EVENTS
WOOD BAT TOURNAMENT
The Wood Bat Tournament for 2026 is Saturday, July 25th at Schaefer Softball Complex.
Its summertime so it’s time for a Picnic and a little Vintage Softball. Come join us Food, Fun and of course Softball, with a twist, Wood Bats! There will be food, Burgers and Brats, Snacks and drinks to purchase.
Come and watch the games and meet men and women softball players from Scrap Iron and other local senior leagues.
Player registration is $25.
All Players will be put on teams in a mixed random lottery. Reregistration is due by July 18th, but you still can sign up on the day of the event. Everyone who signs up to Play gets a free Combo meal. Drinks available to purchase.

ANNUAL BANQUET AND AWARDS DINNER – October 24, 2026
The Scrap Iron Club Banquet for 2026 will be held at the The Conference Center at Ridgegate, 9977 Sky Ridge Ave., Suite 401
Lone Tree, Colorado 80124. There will be some great silent auction items and the usual very nice raffle items. Plus it is a time to meet, greet and talk to other Scrap Iron players and families. Players and members will be honored and awarded as we have done in the past. The cost is still $50 at the entry and $45 for those who prepay.
SCRAP IRON 2024 BOARD MEETING – December 6, 2025
The Scrap Iron Board of Directors and Executive Committee meet to discuss the end of 2024 season finances, the season’s activities and club updates. New teams are presented and voted for acceptance into the Scrap Iron Club and a 2026 preliminary budget forecast is discussed. All Scrap Iron Club members are invited to attend. If someone has a topic to be discussed, contact the President by November 22, 2025.
